DeCarbon Air at the NIBA 150th Investment Conference -
A Milestone Moment
September 4–5, 2024 | Fort Lauderdale, FL
DeCarbon Air was honored to participate in the 150th National Investment Banking Association (NIBA) Investment Conference, held at The Westin Fort Lauderale Beach Resort. The event brought together leaders in finance, innovation, and sustainability to explore forward-thinking investment opportunities.
Our Founder & President, Dustin Eplee, and our CFO & Director of Investor Relations and Communications, Lisa Ambrose, represented DeCarbon Air at the conference. Together, they shared insights into the groundbreaking work our team is doing to combat carbon emissions and promote air quality through our patented Air Perfecter™ technology.
"We were thrilled to present our Air Perfecter™ solution to such a forward-looking audience," said Lisa Ambrose. "NIBA provided an incredible platform to connect with like-minded innovators and impact investors who are as committed to climate action as we are."
The conference featured dynamic discussions on the future of clean tech, venture capital trends, and sustainability-driven investments. DeCarbon Air's participation marked a key moment in its mission to drive scalable, subscription-based solutions for clean air and carbon removal.
We extend our sincere appreciation to NIBA for organizing this distinguished event and for providing a platform to share our advancements in carbon removal technology. DeCarbon Air remains committed to leading the transition toward a cleaner, more sustainable future through continued innovation, strategic partnerships, and thought leadership within the investment and environmental sectors.
Last week, the U.S. Department of Energy announced the cancellation of $3.7 billion in awards intended for carbon capture and decarbonization projects — including $540 million for major initiatives by Calpine. According to the DOE, these canceled projects failed economic and return-on-investment benchmarks and did not align with the long-term energy needs of the American people.
These canceled projects weren't abandoned because carbon capture doesn't matter. They were shelved because large-scale, traditional systems remain too slow, too expensive, and too complicated to meet the moment.
Carbon capture remains one of the few proven methods to actively remove carbon from our atmosphere and industrial outputs. The cancellation of high-profile projects risks damaging public confidence, slowing innovation, and derailing progress at a time when clean air, sustainable manufacturing, and energy resilience have never been more critical.
But not all tech depends on top-down approval.
DeCarbon Air is ready now — built for the realities of climate, industry, and deployment across all environmental zones. While federal programs rethink what's "feasible," we're out proving it.
Where others see a setback, we see clarity:
✅ The world needs carbon capture.
✅ The world doesn't have time to wait.
✅ DeCarbon Air is the answer that scales without subsidy, stalls, or excuses.
Our message is simple:
Cleaner air shouldn't depend on paperwork. It should depend on performance.
We invite partners, industries, and forward-thinking leaders to step into a future that won't pause for any reason — because neither will we.
